LUKE C. CARRABBA

LUKE CHARLES CARRABBA is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor in Business Administration degree in Risk Management/Insurance and Finance. He received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center and gained admittance to the Texas Bar in 1991. He thereafter was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Carrabba also served as an intern for the Honorable Karen Brown, a bankruptcy judge for the Southern District of Texas. He has authored and presented a number of articles for continuing legal education seminars including: "Insurance Law: Third Party Coverage in Texas" in 1997, "Personal Injury Settlements in Texas" in 2000, "How to Try Your First Civil Trial in Texas" in 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2005 for the National Business Institute, Inc. and "Settlement Package Presentation: Winning Ways to Settle Cases" for the Automobile Injury Litigation Conference sponsored by the South Texas College of Law in 1996. He was the contributing author for the Automobile Torts Chapter for The Texas Torts Handbook published by James Publishing in 1998 and its update in 1999. Mr. Carrabba is member of the Board of Directors for the nonprofit Texas Conservation Fund and is a former director of the Federation of Italian-American Organizations. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Houston Bar Association, and was the former president of the Italian American Lawyers of Texas. Mr. Carrabba is AV rated by Martindale-Hubble.
